FACILITIES PROVIDED BY SAMATHA MAHILA VEDIKA

DINING AREA

SAMATHA MAHILA VEDIKA has a spacious dining area with an attached well equipped and well maintained modern kitchen.
The dining area has the capacity to seat 40 number of people.

COMMON AREA

The common area is located on the ground floor with comfortable sofa seating.
It has television with cable TV for common viewing.
It has daily newspapers for common reading.

ENTERTAINMENT HALL

The entertainment hall is located on the first floor.
It is used for various functions such as Founder’s Day Celebration, festivals, social and entertainment events.
Events are organised at frequent intervals such as singing, indoor games, skits, housie etc.
Local voluntary associations such as the Lions Club, Rotarians, college students etc. take an active interest in organizing and participating in these events.
Students from schools and colleges also visit the home and entertain the mothers at the home. We all have a very entertaining time.

PRIVATE TV, CABLE AND TELEPHONE

Residents have the option of having their personal TV in their rooms and subscribing to a cable TV service.
Residents also have the option of installing a private MTNL telephone line in their rooms.
Both of the above facilities are easily available.

SECURITY

It has always been our moto to provide the best care, security and safety to all our residents.
SAMATHA MAHILA VEDIKA has a security staff.
The main gates are locked from:

• Afternoon  :   1:30 pm to 4 pm
• Night  :   9 pm to 6:30 am (confirm)

CCTV cameras are installed in all critical locations such as kitchen, dining area, lobby, entrance etc. These are monitored from the office and linked to the website. Thus activities are reviewed by the Management Staff and the Trustees regularly.

TEMPLE

SAMATHA MAHILA VEDIKA has a temple on its premises.
The temple complex is used during religious festivals, special poojas, bhajans and satsangs.
There is a bhajan gathering every third Saturday of the month.
For the religious and spiritual needs there are a lot of temples near by Shiva temple, hanuman temple, Rama Mandir and church.

SOLAR SYSTEM

We are have installed the solar system at our premises, and inmates have no problem with the electricity whatsoever.
